The design, feel and size of the Remington MB4555 are ideal for me. The Remington MB4555 is very sleek looking – it has a shiny black front panel with silver stripes and a non-slip grip back. The built-in mini-USB interface enables charging using the included charger.
This can be used on any USB mobile/smartphone charger or even via the USB port on a computer.
The Remington MB4555 charges pretty fast, attaining a full charger within 70 to 90 minutes.
If the battery is empty, the Remington MB4555 can also be used when connected to the charger.
The supplied charger is compatible with Phones/ Smartphones 5V, 1.0A.
The touch operation gives you the possibility of choosing the appropriate length in 0.1mm increments (0.4 to 18mm).
The adjustment is done electronically and you do not have to physically change the attachment. This is because it is connected to a universal mount and there is no need to change to different comb sizes.
The 0.1mm cutting length is achieved by simply decreasing the size.
Just like its predecessor the MB4550, the new Remington MB4555 still features a lot of plastic parts.
Improper handling will easily lead to damaging of this parts and I do not understand why this has not changed despite the many customer complaints on the issue.
Too much pressure should never be applied on the comb or the locking mechanism as these easily break.
.The trimmer has titanium-coated, self-lubricating blades and therefore there is no need for re-oiling
.The Remington MB4555 luckily is not greasy and does not smell of oil like other trimmers.
